Hello

My name is Steve Mountford and I am PIP candidate for Thundersley North ward.

I have lived in Thundersley most of my adult life.  I live near Thundersley Village, so I am truly local to be able to understand and represent the people who live here.  I am married and have four sons, who went to Thundersley Primary School and King John School.  I decided to stand in 2021 with PIP to bring independence to Castle Point.  I am the cabinet member responsible for resources/finances and I am a qualified accountant.  Since taking power at Castle Point, in a short time, we have transformed the structure and delivery of services.  We have cut costs to be more efficient and delivered a healthy budget this year with a 0% increase.

 

My aim is to represent you independently and I am constrained by National Party Politics.
