PIP and CIIP remain separate parties and have agreed to work together in a power-sharing arrangement to give political leadership to the running of the council. With 32 independent seats this gives a significant majority of 23 over the 9 Conservatives seats. This large majority enables us to push through changes without any support from the Conservatives.
